THEME: All-Star Artists Program
WHEN: Every Monday and Wednesday | 4:30 – 6:30 pm | Sep 11 – Nov 15 (10 Weeks)
AGE GROUP: 4-12 years
DESCRIPTION: Our Fall After School Programming at our new location will include two sessions for different age groups.
Shining Stars (Ages 4-7 4:30-5:30 pm): Shining star visual art lessons are drop-in style classes designed for young artists who want to discover their creative style. Projects will include painting, printmaking, sculpture, and various fun and silly crafts.
Super Stars (Ages 8+ 5:30-6:30 pm): This course is designed for rising artists who want to explore everything visual art has to offer. Each lesson will include weird, wacky, or wonderful art history and hands-on projects including painting, printmaking, oil pastels, charcoal, and more.
LOCATION: Upturn Arts’ Studio, 1840 Euterpe St, New Orleans, LA 70113
COST: $100 for a 10 lesson package (1 day per week). $200 for a 20 lesson package (2 days per week). Financial aid is available.
