As part of our vision to provide “Arts for All,” Upturn Arts offers financial aid through our creARTive grants program to allow ALL young artists to explore and investigate the world around them through art.
CreARTive grants are available year-round and determined by annual income. The creARTive grant application requires one of the following supporting documents:
- Proof of Medicaid (including dependents)
- SNAP or EBT* (including dependents)
- 2022 taxes or
- 2021 taxes and the last three months of pay stubs
*We currently do not accept P-EBT

Your discount on tuition is based on your annual income. As determined by your federal taxes, find your household size and your annual income to determine the amount of tuition you will pay. For example, if you are registering for a week of Summer Camp ($300/week) and you have a household size of 3 and an annual income of $75,000, you only pay 10% of the tuition, or $30 per week.
We review and approve Grant applications weekly. Eligible families will receive a coupon code to apply at checkout for the creARTive Grant discount. Codes are given on a first-come, first-served basis and must be applied to your camp registration. Discount Codes will not be added retroactively to completed registrations.
Codes are active for one (1) week. Expired codes are considered declined grants and offered to the next waitlisted family. Registrations are only guaranteed once a 25% deposit is paid toward the tuition.
