This class focuses on meditation, stretching and core-strengthening in a relaxing space to refocus your mind and move your body. The class begins with meditation, affirmations and guided breathing techniques. It slowly moves through yoga inspired stretches and ends with Pilates core strengthening exercises. The class concludes with an inspiring quote to leave you feeling rejuvenated and focused.

Mindful Movement is taught by our executive director, Dana Reed, who is BASI Pilates-certified and has over 20 years of experience teaching dance and movement. This class was inspired by her completion of the New Orleans Youth Alliance’s Wellness Workshop series.
