Upturn Arts is thrilled to announce a dynamic collaboration with Speech Pathologist, Ashlyn Major for an innovative summer STEAM minicamp. Embark on a three-day journey of exploration and innovation designed for children aged 5-12. Our carefully crafted programs are tailored to meet the developmental requirements of our budding artists, guaranteeing a gratifying and inspiring adventure for every participant.

Immerse yourself in interactive, creative learning through the magic of LEGO bricks. Conquer daily challenges, unleash your imagination, foster collaboration with fellow campers, and enjoy endless fun in this mini camp dedicated to building with LEGO bricks and sets.
June 11-13 Session 1 – 10am-12pm or Session 2 – 1pm-3pm
Strengthen social skills through engaging games, snack time, structured lessons, and creative art activities. Camp welcomes children of all abilities to join in the fun and learning. Social skills are vital for navigating life, and mastering them is a valuable asset. Benefit from the expertise of an experienced Speech Pathologist leading this social group, and forge lasting connections while creating cherished memories with newfound friends.
June 18-21 Session 1 – 10am-12pm or Session 2 – 1pm-3pm (no camp June 19)
July 16-18 Session 3 – 10am-12pm or Session 4 – 1pm-3pm
Broaden literacy skills through artistic expression and creativity in this immersive literacy mini camp. Delve deep into the world of storytelling, gaining insights to effectively illustrate and craft characters as well as scenes that bring a story to life.
June 25-27 Session 1 – 10am-12pm or Session 2 – 1pm-3pm
Talk about Talking! Embark on a fascinating exploration of speech! Discover the intricacies of speaking, accents, and dialects under the guidance of a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Delve into the world of acting as you uncover how actors master various accents for their roles on the silver screen. Engage in a captivating journey at this mini camp, where the science and art of speaking come together through hands-on creative projects.
